Summary

Kent Meyers
“The ultimate goal for leaders isn't how far we advance ourselves but how far we advance others.”
I’m an innovative, passionate leader who believes “it’s not about me, it’s about growing other people.”

I help businesses prosper and grow by building, developing, and leading technical teams that deliver breakthrough highly engineered products and programs. My progressive career in engineering built a foundation that provides deep insight into how to bring out the best in engineering teams and manage global product programs.

I serve as a trusted partner and advisor to senior and cross-functional leadership and am known for my business acumen and technical background. I leverage my influencing and collaboration skills to advocate for moving projects forward.

I believe that coaching, transparent communication, and bridging cultural barriers are critical to team success. I have a deep passion for helping individuals reach their highest potential and take pride as they grow within the organization. I provide visibility to senior leadership by encouraging my team to present updates and reports in key meetings.

Mom and Dad were a big influence and taught me the value of hard work. My early aspiration was to be a farmer, and I started working at the age of 9 picking cherries. As I grew up, I decided that additional education should be my goal, and I worked three jobs each summer to pay for college tuition. I obtained my degree in engineering, believing it would be a great foundation for my life.

I currently enjoy giving back to my community through volunteering and have served on various boards and committees. I am forever grateful to my wife and two daughters who have supported me throughout my career and have encouraged me to always seek new opportunities and challenges.
